Nov 9 2007, 12:33 AM EST I can't seem to send picture mail with my moto Q. Only through e-mail can't I use text like other phones? I used to be able to send pictures to my frinds straight to their phones but now I can"t. Why is this? 32 out of 36 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: sending pictures
Jan 17 2008, 4:34 PM EST I have Sprint. When you click on a picture to send the Text option for sending is grayed out. The only option is to send it with whatever e-mail account you have set up on the phone. The biggest problem is sending it to someones phone, rather than their e-mail. You can send it to certain phone's if you have their carrier & phone number: Sprint: 10digitphone#@pm.sprint.com Verizon: 10digitphone#@vzwpix.com Cingular: 10digitphone#@mms.mycingular.com T-Mobile: 10digitphone#@tmomail.net Alltel: 10digitphone#@message.alltel.com I got this info from this post: http://www.everythingq.com/forum/motorola-q/picture-mail-mms-3519.html#post18976 28 out of 32 found this valuable. RE: sending pictures
Mar 17 2008, 9:05 AM EDT I just went through this myself. I can send pictures as attachments, but this is very clunky. A better way is this: the phone (or any mobile device) when plugged into a computer will show up in Explorer as "Mobile Device" just scroll all the way down and you will see it, this has always been in windows. You do not need to be sync'd to see this.Expand the "Mobile Device" folder, now navigate to the folders where your pictures are and drag them to wherever you like. I have not got previews of pictures to work yet but am working on that, ill post if I figure it out. Sonoferin 2 out of 9 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: sending pictures
Aug 11 2008, 2:51 AM EDT Windows Mobile devices don't do picturemail period. I've heard of some 3rd party options but your phone will not allow pictures to be sent in sms message. If you want to save photos on your home computer then sync using Windows Mobile Device Center. It is made for Vista but works on XP as well. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/downloads/microsoft/device-center.mspx for info and download. Excalibrate Sprint ATS-El Paso 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
