HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT (Adding a file type)
Dec 28 2006, 10:29 PM EST Does anyone know how to add another file type and have it open with some application; for example .rft? I added .rft and copied the .doc settings to it but still cannot open a .rft file?!

Dec 29 2006, 12:34 AM EST Sorry that should be ".rtf" not ".rft". Basically I am trying to open a Rich Text Format file on my Motorola Q but I keep getting the error "Unknown File Type". Like I said, I added the .rtf file type with the Registry Editor and copied the .doc settings, but no luck. Please help
