i have a short part of a song as my alert for text messages. however, it's 30 seconds long, so whenever i get a text, i have to hear the entire thing. even as i'm reading it and typing a reply. so my question, well questions, are: how do i silence the alert? is it even possible or do i need to just stick to a 2-3 second alert? 8  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?
