Mar 17 2008, 8:54 AM EDT I saw someone posted a message about google maps. I was having trouble following some threads in other sites about the gps and Gmaps. I went to google and simply downloaded the google mobile maps and it works great. As soon as it was installed i went to MENU and use GPS and there it was . The whole process took about 10 mins. Sonoferin 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Apr 20 2008, 2:45 AM EDT Does the "my location" function work on your Q? I can't get it to work on mine (I use Verizon). My wife has a blackberry pearl from T-Mobile, and while I don't like the application on her phone (very hard to use) her "my location" works within a couple hundred yards without special GPS hardware. Do you find this valuable? |

It gives a message that my phone was not compatible at first, but after I select GPS, then it worked OK It simply jumps you back to where you are at the moment. Mine is very close 100 yds, and I live way out in the country. I use Sprint. Do you find this valuable? |
