If you have Microsoft Live Communication Server 2005 in your environment you can install a mobile version of the Office Communicator client onto your Q. This will allow you to extand LCS to your handheld. Microsoft has versions for Mobile 2003 and Mobile 5 as well as for Pocket PCs and Smartphones. To download the client, go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=BC89EC5E-5F3B-47D2-955B-B0C1DEAC94D8&displaylang=en.
