Sprint

Sprint has announced they will be releasing the Motorola Q in the fall of 2006 according to Sprint Nextel’s Chief Operating Officer Len Lauer who told investors during an August conference call discussing the company's earnings. Sprint offers competitive data packages and will introduce competition for Verizon Wireless upon release of the Moto Q.

Anonymous hand me down? 3 Apr 22 2007, 1:13 AM EDT by RoguePope

Doesn't it seem like all of us Sprint users get is old Moto hand me downs? Verizon launches it first, then we get it after they can't sell it? I don't know anyone that owns the Q. I guess some people that don't mind spending 100bucks a month on their cell phone bill. but for all of us working joe's Verizon prices things way out of reach. WHEN IS SPRINT GOING TO GET A CHANCE TO LAUNCH A NEW MOTO PHONE? A NEW TREO? ANY NEW PDA?
Come on moto! do you really think people are going to spend 400bucks then another 100bucks a month for a plan to use the PDA? THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!
I use my Sprint Treo600 to access the web for 10bucks a month!

PLEASE MOTO! BRING YOUR PDA'S TO THOSE CUSTOMERS WHO WILL BUY THE PHONES! SPRINT USERS! I want a black Q but Im not going to switch for it

Anonymous PDA with small screen and NO stylus/touchscreen? 1 Apr 22 2007, 1:06 AM EDT by RoguePope
Thread started: Jan 24 2007, 2:43 AM EST  Watch
The MotoQ is an awesome phone with great form factor, but the thing that would make it a true PDA would be having the stylus/touchscreen interface and a larger resolution screen. However, I can see how Moto has made the room to focus on the keypad interface. Also it limits the card memory to 2GB even though 4GB cards and above are becoming more and more available. Oh and another thing - why the crappy 2mpix and below on these super phones? It would be great to get it to at least 5mpix and have the stylus so you can edit a picture on the fly (draw silly mustache) and then send it to someone....just a thought

I'm a Sprint customer, with no intentions of going over to Verizon and spending 40 dollars a month just to use a PDA!!! So this is great news!!! I didn't know if we would ever get the Q. 15 a month extra oppose to 40 a month extra for data access is a huge difference!!!!!!
