Master Reset
At some point you may have to completely wipe the memory of your Q completely clean. You can do this by Start>System Tools>Master Reset. You should have a fully charged battery first.
This can also be done by re-booting your Q and quickly pressing down and holding the red power key and the center silver selection button simultaneously before the Verizon logo appears. You may have to try this several times. You should then see a black screen and a dialog box to ask if you want to reset your Q.

If your Q is completely frozen and wont even power off, just remove the battery for a moment and all will be well again.

Missing audio "features" (voice recognition prompts, rings/alerts preview, MP3, video clip audio...) can be restored, surprisingly, by pressing-in-then-turning the jog wheel (during those times you would expect to hear the gone-missing sounds). Reportedly, bluetooth audio is immune to such loss, but expected audio might be muted w/o bluetooth. Missing audio?...try JOG before hard reset!!
